The Showcase of Citrus is a family owned and operated 2500 acre estate cultivating over 50 varieties of citrus that began in 1989. Located just 15 minutes west of Disney World, Owner John Arnold Jr. is a third generation citrus farmer that created a family friendly environment where visitors of all ages can enjoy spending the day outdoors together. From U-pick citrus and monster truck tours through the 2500 acre ranch to gem mining in a real sluice box or just having a relaxing picnic, there is something for every one of all ages. Open every day of the year means that most days you can see the family working together; Tara with the girls in the fruit stand and John with the boys in the groves. This is truly a family operation that puts forth effort to make a positive difference in the lives of those who visit.

You may drop by thinking you will just pick up a bag of incredibly fresh fruit, but realize hours later that you have spent the entire day with us walking through the grove, taking in the fragrance of orange blossoms and strolling along the waterfront grounds. That’s the way we like it! You will have the opportunity to relax, enjoy, bond, and create fond memories with family during your visit.
Be sure to check out our main attractions:
Find a treasure that lasts forever! For a fun lesson in science and geology, head to the gem mine. Select from 3 pound, 5 pound, or 10 pound bags of ore, and sift out your findings in a real sluice box. Take home beautiful treasures, including arrowheads, crystals, fossils, emeralds, amethyst, sharks teeth, shells, and more. ID cards are included, so the education can continue even after your mining experience. A guaranteed strike in every bag!
We have chickens, goats, pigs, a miniature horse, kangaroo, donkey, and other friendly critters. Animal feed is available in the Old Time Country Store for $3.00 per cup.
In between selecting fruit and touring the ranch, we have plenty to do to keep the whole family entertained.
